DREAM EAST is a new company created

by Amy Ambrose and Mathew McPherson.

A 21 strong ensemble of actors with credits ranging from The National, The RSC, Birmingham Rep, and Bristol Old Vic, to The BBC, ITV and Sky.

As an actor Mathew has performed Shakespeare many times and has developed an understanding as to why Shakespeare's plays are put on time and time again.

Most recently, he played Hermia in Edward Hall’s

A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Propellor -
a company that performs Shakespeare in a bold and exciting way, whilst paying meticulous attention to the text. This is something Matthew is carrying forward into his own version.

Mathew McPherson is making his directorial debut on this production

Amy fell in love with the beautiful Brixton East space and has long been planning to do a piece of theatre there.

A cast of 21 Professional actors and Musicians have all committed to the cause as she hopes to give the production a life afterwards, with funding and for a longer run.

Mathew and Amy invite audiences to come and enjoy this captivating version with original music & vibrancy.
